Bodywork

"We come spinning out of nothingness, scattering stars….
the stars form a circle and in the center we dance."

                                                                 ~  Rumi

When life offers stress, our bodies grab on and say yes. What is that? From the earliest moments of our lives we play out patterns of relationship with the environment. The very way we walk, lay down, run, skip, dance or sit reveals the balance of our centers.

Our bodies record our thoughts and emotions from the moment of conception, as well as the thoughts and emotions of all those around us. Each one of us is a window into a universe. For every thought supported by an emotion a muscle change occurs.

The primary respiration (Prana) and the secondary respiration (breath) along with the Central Nervous System hold the wordless stories of our experiences locked in our energetic and physical bodies. When we tune into the body systems, listening from the deep heartspace changes can arise in the cellular level of the being. Tissue strains, blocked emotions, old traumas, aches, heaviness, weariness all have an opportunity to transform. The body/spirit breaths into space, compressions unravel and the systems flow with inherent health.

On the mat or on the bodywork table we will together engage divinity in the moment, gently listening and following the patterns of holding and ease to support the beings deepest longings for health. A balanced, centered experience of life becomes a new dance step in the universe.
