Public Speaking
In his capacity as a Program Director, News Director, news reporter/anchor, and community spokesperson, Mark has made numerous public speaking appearances and personal appearances. He has had several engagements as a Master of Ceremonies and guest panelist.

Adjunct Faculty
Both the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport PA, and Bloomsburg University, in Bloomsburg, PA have employed Mark as an adjunct faculty member to teach such courses as Broadcast Communications and Broadcast Journalism. He has been invited to serve as adjunct faculty at Susquehanna University.
Lay Worship Leader
Mark has completed an Authorized Lay Worship Leader Program with the Upper Susquehanna Synod, Lewisburg, PA 2004-2006. This program provides instruction in Liturgy, Word, and Sacrament. Mark has preached and presided over Holy Communion in Danville, New Berlin, Shamokin, Lock Haven and Point Township. He serves on the Upper Susquehanna Synod's Lay Ministry Institute committee which is in the process of starting a new School of Church Leadership.
Conferences / Workshops
Mark has hosted several workshops and roundtable discussions on a variety of subjects. He provides animated and well researched facilitation for groups wishing to hold a public debate.  Mark has received several awards for his broadcast journalism, community service, and leadership.
