All of us have an aspect of ourselves that requires attention, work, and change in order for us to achieve our goals and to thrive inside and outside the workplace. Often we have some insight about the skill or competency or way of being needs to be developed, but we don't know how to get started. Or, we think we know what to do, but then we get stuck. This is called our "development edge." Some of us know what our development edge is, and others need some help in defining their edge.

Once we've identified our issues, changing behavior, actions, or thoughts can be extremely difficult. Each of us has a source, or wellspring, to tap into to find the path towards success and fulfillment. My job as your coach is to form an alliance with you that provides a framework within you can achieve long lasting change and you can fulfill your professional and personal goals.

What is coaching?

Coaching is a process where a coach and client work together so that positive change occurs. Coaching topics vary widely and are unique to each individual. Some examples include:

  • Developing a competency such as leadership
  • Meeting a specific goal - for example, getting promoted or changing careers
  • Transitioning into a position with new responsibilities
  • Developing a quality such as increased confidence, assertiveness, or balance
  • Improving relationships and communication
  • Improving quality of life and personal fulfillment at work and home

Coaching begins with INSIGHT, moves to ACTION, and ends with RESULTS.
